Thank you so much Troosha! You are right of course-but when I was young the method was--"Children should be seen and not heard".I thank God-that principal has left society-well-overall! I see such a tremendous difference-with my Grandchildren's lives! And-(I sincerely hope)-in the way I handled my own children! Thanks agin.Chris.

It's dreadful when parents (foster or otherwise) tell children not to cry. Tears are so cleansing and if only asked, the child could probably explain why they feel such sadness. Children just want to be heard and loved.

Chris, I will have to read this from the beginning? I just found this... I am glad, by reading your comment that you have learned that crying is okay... ~ it's when we stop emotions that we become so empty...I know of this. I will be back ~
