Oh Ariala, this absolutely touched my heart. I agree wholely with what you write here. I find this tonight before I turn in and the peace I am with is remarkable. He is my First ~
a cute story, when I was 7 and having completed my first confession and communion, well I felt pretty big in the church...so one night my mother was telling me to do something (dont really remember) and I told her "i dont have to do that..." well, back then the belt was not far from any doorway, hung right there and as she looked over at it, I said more firmly and with conviction (she always loved my conviction) "God is my Father...He is my Father and My Mother...He will tell me when and what to do..." ~ ok - so I was let off the hook for about 2 minutes...so my mother could compose herself. Then, guess what Ariala, I then learned that Mamma and Daddy were responsible for me - that GOD put them in charge...hmmm. LOL just had to share this ~
