These sad days are a beckoning call to the happiest days ahead. Move on, keep going even if you think it is leading you to nowhere, but God sure knows where you have to be. Lovely imgery to paint melancholy.

Sinome,
I can chime in and say that God cares but I have read enough of your work to know that you already understand the same...I always thought that I would be angry at God without end if a Loved one were taken away...as I said before, when Mom was still alive, she seemed not to be 'here' after her heart attack...it was as if she was gone even before she passed away...I was most angry with God during the time Mom was like a young child in her actions and reactions following her attack...but that anger passed...forgive my word danse through Mom's story; at the moment the best way I can think of to say to you that you have not been abandoned by God although the emptiness you feel cannot be justified until you have had time to bear your pain in the individual way which tears grievously at everyone's Heart at some personal point in time.
Take care                                  Ted

Life has a way of unfolding in unexpected ways my dear Sinome
if he's gone he wasn't right for you and surely the pain passes and a new door will open; thank you for an excellent read

Sinome, I have a feeling that God cares.  He just doesn't interfere in the choices that we make.

I am sorry
While going through the postings, I did not come across any of your entry and that was why I could not read and comment on your poems. Please excuse me.
This is a nice poem, Marta.

Memories are brutal...
...and beautiful. What would we do without them and how do we live with them? I feel your struggle, Sinome. You express it so beautifully and poignantly and powerfully! Hang in there and don't give in to despair!~Charles
