Re: She was running scams long long before F street

I went to your link to be reminded of her and they had decided that she was schizophrenic, no? Maybe a little less so in her youth?

Just think, I could have gotten away with something all these years and made some money.....but no, I gave it away to men. What was I not thinking???

Re: Benzinha
I know Wiley Mon, as I have read your gardening tips, "How to Move Giant Boulders" and signs and portents and snows. But, you may be moving on to greener pastures, no??

Re: Hey, wait1

majroj, I awaited your comment upon the size of the garden bed.... ; )

so many candidates for burial, so little space, is my feeling.

Rototillers don't go deep enough, I may have to go very deep to hide the massive quantities of bodies stacked.....

And, do you know how much my demented mind wanted to read rottweiller when I read your comment?

Re: dahlias, sam444. I cannot just plant PRETTY as water is scarce.

I have to plant useful or practical or drought resistant.

My neighbor across the street planted eight feet of flowers running parallel to the curb, bookending her mailbox. It is a small thing in the greater scheme of things, but it looks good enough to eat as I arrive at home. California poppies and other things. Yummy.

You are blessed to be in a greener, wetter place.

Re: I just bought a "sweet broom". might need more sun,

maj,

Lime and lemon and jasmine are my next favorites fragrances after lavender. My car smelled like mulch for a day or two after buying the bags and after leaving them in there for about ten hours, gathering strength to unload and pull the wagon into the back garden.

The orange tree still has thousands of blossoms and smells yummy when I pass it. I cannot smell the neighbor's lemon tree anymore since he nailed his gate shut. I bought some wood for him to repair the Warner Bros. hole in the middle of the gate caused by Mosinha and Baby hitting it HARD one day, trying to get back there to grab cats.

He repaired that hole and then nailed the gate shut, even though I bought him a new and industrial strength closure. So, the dogs still cartoon hit it and fall backwards now.

I am not allowed back there either. I would have begun to empty the 5 gallon bucket filled with oil from previous neighbor's oil changes. He leaves it in the rain to fill up with water too and then overflow, which will soon kill the lemon tree. I asked him what he was going to do and he said that it was the landlord's job and the landlord's tree.

Renters!!!

I just bought a "sweet broom". might need more sun,

but my car still smells like gentle lemons days after it's 15 minute ride home.

Pant dill and parsely for sure, and if yo can keep it moist, mint!! They'll go native and attract butterflies.

Oh I am so lucky to have lavender here.
I have just gone and brushed my fingers against the plants and typed this here with the hope it brings life to your lavender seeds.
