Have a fun happy Easter, JollyJeff!
The reformer John Calvin wrote that humans always behaved badly because of human nature. In fact, a young woman ran naked in colonial America. After all, the colonists wouldn't pay tax on tea. On Easter Eve late afternoon, every driver speeded across the crosswalk, including the yellow cab that I've been one of their customers. All of them almost ran me over. They didn't care. Heaven's like a weekend holiday for eternity. Personally, I wouldn't have the courage to be crucified for anybody. But, an interesting post and religious humor. Thank you for sharing. Take care.

Great questions! I don't think he died FOR our sins as much as BECAUSE of our sin in killing him! Drowning people clutch at straws!
