The 'embers of my cynicism' (marvellous expression, I'm gonna steal it, okay?) are burning brightly. Not just about the Clintons - about all of them, really, which includes the media and much of the public - all involved in a ritual that desperately attempts to keep realities unvoiced. It works for the most part, but when people are striving for power, they will sometimes yank the blanket of silence aside and expose what is usually not spoken of in polite society.
Maybe it takes an outsider like myself to say these things, and maybe I will blog on this, though first I need to be done with this damn 'Time' thing...

I have a request,
Peace,
I have a publication offer and am short of 16 poems .. if you decide to give recommendation/s .. which one/once of my poems on blogit would you recommend me to send to the publisher?
You are also invited to edit a poem/poems you think need editing and receive accreditation for doing so .. if it/they is/are in the end of the day accepted by the publisher.
Your ideas are very much appreciated,

I like your last paragraph. Unfortunately our system is no longer about public works or public welfare as much as it is about personal esteem and power.

Ciel, I love this paragraph, "I have never wanted more than now to be able to believe in a candidate. Disappointment has become the expectation, and hope is a heady, fragile thing."
