I don't know, NewYorker.  It just seems to be that way--always has and probably always will be.  You seem to be doing a good job of fighting it.

Go ahead...enlighten me, what is your "Gospel"? That Obama grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and Wright lives better that you and I put together with all the money he's amassed from his "church"? You have still to answer my question: what have Obama and Wright effectively done for the African American community?

PS Xenox-X
He's always condenming the Clintons as if he lived poorly under Bill Clinton's presidency. Does he have it any better under Bush? If he's got any balls he should be complaining about the state of the economy today which is devastating everyone and not throw cheap shots at the Clinton family, who have a long history of fighting for equality.

Reverend Wright IS allowing the hate to grow by continuously spewing hate for all whites. That is not something anyone who claims to preach the word of God should do. When I went to school my religion teacher was an Ethiopian priest and NY was in the middle of tense race issues but he was the kindest, most loving and intelligent man I have ever met in my life. He preached dialog, understanding and forgiveness - not hate. Wright on the other hand makes it sound as if whites know no hardships or struggles and have it made all the time. If you have to always blame someone for your bad luck it's not because life has been unkind but because you are generally an unhappy, frustrated person to begin and choose to do nothing about it, and that goes beyond any race. Wright has racked up thousands of dollars from donations by members of his "church" with his hate-mongering and lives comfortably by his own twisted double standards. I'm tired of rabble rousers like him always crying foul play but never lift a finger to change the situation. What has this man effectively done for the back community, apart from teaching hate?

Two weeks ago Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard caught a lot of flack for her 9/11 conspiracy theory, saying that the US was behind the whole thing. She nearly got lynched for it. Now this "reverend" says the same thing and gets away with it. Why? because it's how the Obama-obsessed media wants it to be - they are dissing it as (to quote Chris Matthews) "something that was said years ago". Marion Cotillard also said it a few years ago - why two weights and two measures for the same words?

NewYorker in Sicily,
The "real" facts are very painful! Can you identify anything in the Pastor's words that are not "Gospel"? Let me help you. No!!!!

REV. WRIGHT IS RIGHT
He speaks from a position of obvious anger at over two centuries of exploitation.

If you ain't been there  you don't know.

He's been there and he knows a lot of people who've been there.

As I said tens of millions of people are there now.

So whatcha gonna do about it?  Allow the anger to grow?

NewYorker, Its too bad that a presidential candidate has to answer for his pastor, his/her church, but they do.  They are stripped of anything and everything personal when they decide to be a presidential candidate.
