I like your posts, johncrossx. And I loved MST. Those guys were more than
a little amusing.  But this Raul Julia dreck.  He was probably contractually obligated somehow to the production, something he probably entered into in a younger life, then thought better of it and skipped out.  After he became famous, the people who owned the rights to the movie saw their chance and sued him to get him to act in it.  Probably.  I'm just saying... Because that happens quite often in the entertainment business.  Contractual obligation has brought us quite a few b-movies over the years with some big stars.  (Personally, I believe that is what is happening with Jessica Alba at present.  How else do you explain all these really bad movies she's been in of late?  Could her manager or agent really be that bad?)

 Interesting post. Also, I passed a book sale today that had a biography of Roger Corman whose American International films  played with the major film in the 1960s. Film noir's the classic B picture genre of the 1940s and 1950s.
