Sounds like a really cool guy,

reminds of my husband a bit (I always tease him that he picked up guitar at age 16 or so to get better chances with girls and became so interested in guitar that forgot all about girls until he was 24 - which is almost true).

But about niceness - I'm not too nice, I can be blunt and cold and even mean. I discovered some years ago that I can be either nice to everybody and a monster with my closest ones or a monster to everybody except the ones I love - I guess I just don't have enough niceness in me for everyone - and so I choose the latter.

Yes, Naut, I am particularly pleased about that part of it!

I have been extraordinarily blessed in my kids, all three of them!  And believe me, the credit for them turning out well is sometimes in spite of rather than because of my parenting skills!
