I have to object strongly to your "just black" Africa.  I also have to object to your "Great army and Nuclear Arsenal" aspirations.  If you really think that this is the way forward, don't be surprised if our beloved Africa and All her people end up as nuclear fallout.  This kind of thinking you promote here will maybe get you in a position such a Robert Mogabe finds himself in, but you will certainly not build a better Africa for anybody.

Anybody with military dreams ends up in conflict with others with the same dream.  Everybody with dreams of peace ends up hand in hand with others who share that dream.  Africa is in the state it is because of too many people, black, white or whatever, dreaming of domination through threats of violence.

I do agree that all Africans should stand together and shake off the shackles of the "West" and the "East" and whoever else is trying to own Africa.  When I say "all" Africans I mean everybody who was born and raised there and love her like ourselves.  We can do this without violence from our side.  We simply need to get together and change the rules of our own game and then engage the rest of the world on our terms.

A Pan-African army with a nuclear arsenal?

I don't think so. Africans should start by getting rid of corrupt leaders who are squandering billions of Western aid on armamaments that, unfortunatley, are often sold to them by Western arms manufacturers, but increasingly by China; and who line their pockets shamelessly while their people starve. And who fan the flames of ancient tribal animosities - remember Rwanda? Remember the Congo? Have you looked at Darfur lately? Or Kenya?

And what's this call for 'racial purity' all about? While in the West we are trying to overcome this nonsense of 'race', difficult though it may be, you want a 'racially pure' Africa? Without Arabs and Europeans? You want to give Western racists an excuse to be be even more rabid, and call for sending all black and brown people back to 'where they came from'?

Africa has serious problems -  but not having a 'Pan-African' army with nuclear weapons ain't one of them!

But you may not truly believe what you preach anyway - why else would you be in Europe rather than Africa?

I am not a political person, but I do deeply care about  things, including the problems in Africa.  It seems to me that we have a culture barrier there,  Most Americans do not understand the cultural values of those ancient societies and therefore tend to judge them by their standards which are totally inadequate for the situation at hand.  I do not know enough to give an opinion on that subject but I will say this, Ido not think  comunism is the answer, neither is unification right now,  there are too many regional things going on to be able to make them one union.  Great post Angerson, smile, maybe the answer is Love.

I think the uniting of the African continent...
...under one banner, could go a long way towards solving that continent's many problems. The European Nations united under the auspices of the European Union, so, why can't Africa do something similar. It won't be easy. The turmoil seems to get worse very year. It may take a massive armed insurgence to bring about change, like the Bolsheviks did in old Russia. Not that Communism solved anything, but, it was change. And change is what Africa desperately needs! An undertaking of that scope would require resources and manpower, that might not exist in any attainable form. Also, you know that other non-African nations would get involved, making a bad situation even worse...well...maybe not. The white nations don't seem to care about what happens in Africa anyway. They only get involved when other white nations are threatened with internal or external threats. Tough call, but, you are right to care!
