Original_Influence, I'm very late reading this post.  venting is good.  I hope that it helped in this case.

Like lots of others have said, vent away. We all need that someplace we can go and find a listening ear. I am praying for you. God will hold you in His hand. Keep your face to the sun. Marie

joab1...
I used to be good at anticipating...maybe I need to get back into practice. Good suggestion!

EmmaCunnan,
I'd have to agree that it isn't worth someone suffering to keep them here, but it just is so sad to let them go...Thanks for your kind words.

Bring on the venting...
I agree that sometimes my own car is jinexed. My family calls my truck the "hit me truck" so you can imagine how many times in a day thing happen. But, looking at it this way at least you are an awesome driver because you are missing what comes your way (even if they are close calls). I hear to listen(read) if you need to do more.

Vent away!
Troubles seems to come in bunches sometimes, but as far as your car is concerned, all those close calls suggest to me that, far from being jinxed, it is actually looking after you...

Life better stop throwing me curve balls
Life is maintained on an "eccentric" orbit -- don't expect the world to be straight with you.  IMO, you need to "steal" a few signs and and anticipate the next pitch.  joab

Vent away!
This is the only therapy in the universe that YOU get paid for! LMAO....
I lose my mind over crazy drivers, but there have been way too many times that someone stupid and/or slow got in my way, and actually kept me five minutes or an hour or only seconds from horrible crashes...I try not to drive faster than my guardians can fly, and every time someone passes over, I am grateful for two reasons: they're better off/ in a better place, and there is someone else over there on my side....Keeping them here when they are in pain, or overburdened, or it's just their time is selfish on my part.

and I will pray for you and yours as well.  I know you do not want sympathy but can I give you a hug?  I will anyway, and remember that it will be OK <<<<<<<<<hugging you>>>>>>> take care of you.  Oh, and BTW, your car, is not a jinx, it is an angel car, look at how many accidents it got you out of :-).  Be well
