of transportation will help 'save the planet' too!  Gas prices are exorbitant here too it's up to 150 yen for a  litter, you figure it out, um.... isn't that about the same, at 104 yen to the dollar.... ?  Gosh the dollar has weakened so much too!

I think a bicycle is great. I ride my bike at least once a day six days a week. I chuckle when I see the cars lined up at the lights. I can get to most places faster than a vehicle. I think you might benefit from Craigs list for a used (experienced) bicycle. I have picked up great deals to give to unfortunate kids. Good luck with the bus and all other alternate travel.  sam

Interesting post here I R! I was amazed that the big oil companies should be making record profits in times like these. Some have even reduced refining capacity. Hybrids?????
