Some years ago I had the privilege to talk with some mid-wives, just after the legislation past in Quebec to accept mid-wifery as being a Legal job. I also interviewed an old Amerindian woman who had became a mid-wife at the age of 19 because no doctor could reach their small village in the winter. I, myself, experienced giving birth the normal way (or natural way) and I would not have it otherwise. Great film.
