Marie,
Losing a parent is very hard. I lost my dad on my daughter's due date and now every one of her birthdays is a bittersweet moment. She was 11 says late after that and I had labor induced because of all of the horror stories going around at the time about delayed births. I find myself inspired by your stories and I am grateful. Thank you so much for sharing. OI

Thank you so much for your comments. I don't think we are ever ready to give up our parents. Your encouragement means a lot to me in telling my story. Marie

I know how it is to lose a parent and not be beside him. My father died in the same age as your mom and I didn't see him for a year and a half before that, due to circumstances. Welcome on blogit, you gain one reader
