Re: Serious
Dearest Seedlings, your son may be running away from insecurities and or bad thoughts(his monsters) within himself. The beginning of hope for him is to open up to a good friend (one who really cares about him), and to know that he is not alone in his struggle. Even though I do not know him, I do know that he is a good kid that could use a little help working out the ups and down of life. I want him to be alright, he will be fine...

Serious
I knew a 'Dave' who died at about age 28 of liver failure. I can't remember a time that he wasn't drunk. He left a wife and a daughter. This was ages ago. More recently my neighbor's liver just fell apart. He'd been warned but he couldn't stop. He hadn't the ability to. He's been dead about 2 or 3 years now but I always think I hear his footsteps late at night on the sidewalk when the bars close down and he heads home. More importantly is that I worry about my son who drinks every single night, wakes at about 2:pm and begins all over again. He lives in another state, he's nearly 30 and I pray each and every night that he will stop and that it will not stop him.
