cards
It is nice to find them but I don't have the link myself and don't necessarily need it, because I much prefer to write out a comment telling people what I think.

The calling card feature
I have only left a calling card twice, I prefer to type my thoughts in reply. I have received one card myself, coincidentally by "Geri," the previous commenter. Don't get me wrong, I like to know who is reading my stuff (I read theirs, in return, and find good writers this way, quite often.) and I guess this feature serves a purpose, but my way feels more considerate, to the feelings of the writer who went to the trouble of composing something of interest to others. I still check for calling cards each time, though.   Guy

Cards
I like to be able to leave a card. I read but rarely want to leave a public comment. I just don't want to do all that most of the time. I feel fine leaving the card to let the writer know that I enjoyed their post. The card shows from what blog I was at and I sure don't need them to tell he thanks for the card! That's like getting a birthday card and then sending a thank you card to the sender, then the sender has to send you a card back to thank you for the thank you card... and on and on. Maybe that doesn't make sense . Oh well. If I leave you a card it's because I enjoyed your work.

Purple_Mermaid11, don't ever feel like you would ever look silly
on blogit, dear.  It's all good and fun.  I wish that we could leave them in the comment areas so we could see them right away.  But I guess that would defeat their purpose.  Take care.

Kind of along the same line, have you reported any abuse?  Or, have you been reported.  LOL

I left one somewhere just to try it out, but don't ask me where.  Most of the time I just have to say something so I comment instead.  But, I have received some of them and I think its kind of neat.  You just reminded me that I have not looked there today.
