LOL, Transendental_Child. May you never have to work as hard for any man as my mom toiled in the days before washers and dryers and dishwashers and refrigerators, before gas came to our house, in the days of the outdoor toilet and before a hot-water heater was installed, when coal had to be shoveled into the giant furnace in the basement and the fire poked hourly, before blenders and food processors, and cake batter was beat by hand. And she still took time to write poems and sing opera arias.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed this. I thought that the children were so cute acting it out. My Mom & Dad would have loved them. They also would have been amazed at YouTube videos and Mom would have loved Blogit. She was a writer of poems.
