katevance, my problem is the opoposite of blockage, I'm afraid. More often than not, I am living on Imodium, just rying to keep food inside me long enough to absorb some nutrition from it before it leaves.
Thanks for the reading and the comment; I really appreciate a reader's input.

Re: So sorry to hear of your problems!
Nautikos, I think of Blogit as a writing center and don't consider it a place to sell paintings. But thanks for thinking of me.....

Re: Sigh indeed
Azur, I did start sobbing when told that a certain test was not the $365 that I had in my purse as the secretary had said, but rather twice that.
She called the director of the office and she charged me just what I had in my purse after I explained what I had been living through.
Insurance companys pay %50 or less of what the doctors have on their books as the charges for certain procedures and I feel that the doctors can do that (accept less, much less) for poor people, too. Or, rather, they should.

Just a Thought
It sounds like you have a bad case of constipation. Try getting a colonic. I had back and side pain that felt like it was in my kidneys, but I just needed to get a good laxative and drink plenty of water. There might be some type of blockage.

So sorry to hear of your problems!
I saw the slide show of your paintings and drawings and enjoyed it. Have you thought of offering your work for sale on Blogit?

Sigh indeed
Unable to afford some of the medical fees, I have at times been able to secure a reduction.
I am very grateful I am able to write a good letter. I always make the letter warm, and entertaining to charm them into wanting to help me.

I hate doctors like that! Is there a senior center in your town? Maybe if
you start going to senior meetings you'll find a good Doctor by asking around.... We are lucky because the hospital of another town opened a clinic in our town and is now competing with our local doctors....
