I love enjambment but it has been some time since I can remember a poem ending and simultaneously beckoning me to start again. I find this to incredulous. Try it for yourself and I think you will be astonished. sam

Footing in unsure here also, TAPS
but such a shimmering, unbroken sight spread before me, yesterday and today thus far. Cardinals landing upon a backdrop of snow would be enchanting to see. Thank you for your comment!

It is beautiful like that here right now and I don't have much desire to get out in it because it is very slick underfoot. I have a lovely view out my deck doors. Today, as usual, the cardinals visited to feed. They are so gorgeous with the snow and ice backdrop.
