never had much luck with the 'bass' but, I certainly enjoy your memoir and such lovely imagery, once again...I'm amazed at the beauty and great prolific worth. ~Elyse

HAHAHAHA, LadyCee
A sensuous fish does seem like a bit of a contradiction doesn't it. LOL

EX_TURPI, doesn't that picture just take you away from winter. Even though it is wishing away what's left of my life, I just can't wait for warm and green.

Oh taps
I was there, watching, listening - I've never imagined a bass could be so sensuous!

Thank you, Damond. I often dream about....
living in a little log cabin in the Ozarks, but it is only a dream. I will never leave KC. It is home. But, I love spending time there in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Wonderful Poem!
Taps this is great--even better closer to excellent! I love it. Those Ozarks sure are beautiful mountains aren't they? I love them!
I live in the foothills in Arkansas. If you like trout fishing you should try the Spring river in Arkansas sometime. You would still be in the Ozarks there too. I don't trout fish but have heard that river is wonderful for it. Mammoth Sping is the beginnig of the river. One spring that puts out nearly 10 million gallons of water per hour. It is one of the ten largest springs in the world and the source of water for the river. It is definitely cold enough for trout.
Great work my friend!

I'm breading for supper. Wish you could have some. They were caught by my favorite fisherman.

Yeshuan, Please note the title of the post.
It had to do with dreaming. You see, again today I'm surrounded by white stuff and bare tree limbs and the cold that creeps into my bones and it seems that it will never end. So, the best I can do is drum up some warm memories. In reality, the day of the picture we caught no fish. We hoped for trout, but the skillet was used for some scrambled eggs and we baked some biscuits in the cast iron pot. As the day got hotter, we took a dip at Aker's Ferry and watched snakes drop into the water from the ceiling of The Grotto at The Sinks.
