Thank you, Sam & teddypoet
None of my boys ended up pianists but they all learned to love music.

Enjoy it while you can. I loved that piano we had. We bought it from a friend who had one son who was good enough to become a concert pianist, but his music career was interrupted by being sent off to Viet Nam where he was killed in action. His mother could not stand for it to just sit there with no one playing it so she was happy to have it end up in a family with four little boys to use it.

Awwwww, TAPS, that was great.....................
I love that song.
I have a piano, a Baldwin upright player. Nobody plays it. I do play piano rolls on it occasionally and am giving some thought (this late in life) to learning to play a little on it. My husband bought it for me for our 25th anniversary. Sad for it to sit with no music coming from it. I did take some piano lessons, maybe if I get started, it will come back. In the interim, I enjoy the piano rolls. I may be able to get some help from my computer - have to check that out I absolutely love the piano music, I have a lot of it on tapes and CDs.

Taps that is special, I agree. My son is a musician and I used to wake
in the morning either to the drum kit or to the piano when he was 13 or so. Lovely memories.
