I loved it!  Specially the end, and you are so right, we should hang on to virtues,  that would be the only way we could save ourselves :-)  TAke care.

Well luv I see a lot of what you see, evil everywhere, then I think of you and George and others and realize love is alive and well and I keep that as my focus.

 Very well said and there is much to think about and attempt to heal in our world. Adding to these events .. My daughters friend and fellow police officer was shot today and we are all awaiting the next report .. not knowing if he will live or die.

Although fraught with up setting events it is very representative of a political poem.  It brings to light an awareness and a fair warning.  sam
