Now I'm hungry...nothing on top of my fridge...

We have to keep everything in the fridge here
But not because of dogs. Snakes, rats, and more, but we have a cat who keeps them at bay. Only trouble is that she catches lizards. We do our best to save them.

I loved your comment, the one where you were thinking about how do we know if we chose

the right path or that anything caused anything. I remember sitting in a bar in a hotel in Beverly Hills. I was there for a big conference held in the same venue as the Oscars. And I read the sign about danger to the unborn child if you drink alcohol. And I thought how could you know later if it was one drink or a speck of dust in the atmosphere that made a difference? How could you know if the drink cost the baby a brain cell or that the drink made you sleep better and being more relaxed the baby's grew stronger. How could you know?

These are the kinds of things that go through one's mind when choosing between a nightcap and a orange juice. Later of course, all of that is meaningless because what happens happens.

Hahaha!
Our late pound dog Pete was a stone goniff when it came to food. Quietly get it, then walk very nonchalantly to the dog door......I lost a couple of breakfasts that way.
