majroj, they love meat. I have a neighbor who, years ago, was attacked by a roadrunner when she picked up a bag of groceries from her car, one that the roadrunner had been pulling at. It had hamburger meat in it and he wanted it.
He flew in her face to make her drop the bag, which she did. Then he flew at her and she ran into the house, which is what the roadrunner wanted. He scarfed down as much beef as he could and then ran away.
Dog food would be really tasty to a roadrunner, I would think.
