Oos,
that is so sweet, it brought tears to my eyes!  My girl made me a misanga, friendship bracelet, once when she was little and I wore it till it fell off.  Now I ask her to make me another and she says she doesn't have time!  (She is bigger than me now, and it may be a few years before she feels like giving me anything again....)

Oos
I still have the little tokens of love my son and daughter gave to me when they were young. Now both grown and moved away I still treasure every little thing they give me. A cork from a bottle of wine we share. A rock picked up examined as pretty and handed to me. Yes, they do grow older and they do buy their friends/spouces things but our children never forget about mother. Touching post

Oostuizen,
The ending is so sweet and that's how mother's always think. Your son is, nonetheless, very sensible for his age.

Vishnu and Karthik used to get fake jewelry for me and used to tell me that they paid a lot........but then when they grown more bigger they saved and bought some real wrings which is in my fingers
always....they buy me ear rings etc.....I love it, I love it.....in fact now a days I don't shop for jewelry any more, but still I always wear something which came from my kids......Now they are teenagers....soon they will be men.... I will be having the precious memories of life time.....
