Xeno-x - to not be true to one's self in their beliefs, redefines the God
that those who would suggest we can "hedge our bets" with believe in.
If this being were truly omnipotent, do people really think he can be fooled by faking a belief? We've seen variations of the Pascal's Wager concept appear time and time again on this site. What people who would endorse such an idea are really saying is that lying to God is better than admitting you doubt or do not believe that he exists.
