andy, I actually got a photo of the sunset and one of the dog with my friends.
Of course, since my computer crashed, was it 2 months ago already, I haven't found my cd to reload my digicamera to my computer to use the photos. Shall clean some this weekend and look for it again. Then I could post it somewhere in my blogs.

DESERTSONG

A poker game, DS What fun! Years ago, I was once drawn into a poker game  by some Japanese friends. I didn't win much, as a first timer, BUT................. "I learned some Japanese!" (lol)  Sayonara, Andy

last nights saturday poker night turned out to be just me and the couple who host it every week.  We spent hours deep in conversation.  It was wonderful!

andy, two ancient wandering old friends hit town simultaneously and we went into the mountains
sans basket, but with take out food and spoke of the past and walked the old paths and my dog stood for the first time in her life atop a huge stone on the mountain top and looked over the huge valley below us and felt like a wolf in the wildnerness. I could see it in her eyes. We stood and watched a Spectacular Sunset in a light wind, pine trees whispering behind us, lights twinkling on miles below us in the city and we kept sighing with Planet Love.

My dearest friends are not on the same island as me, but I do talk to them.  And, since I've broken my foot, I've learned who my true friends are here on O`ahu and who are just "fair-weather" friends.

I really wish I could spend time with my best friend though.  But for now, talking on the phone daily will have to suffice.
