I'm afraid that the whole business of newspaper and mag. is going down

the toilet. To many writters, not enough readers. So I heard.

I used to get ticked off when I heard it said

Now I just move on. I'm going to be writing a column for the local newspaper. I did the same thing in Alaska but stopped after I moved to Idaho. My payment - I get the local paper free (with delivery). Considering it only comes out once a week on wednesdays I guess you could say that the payment is just a step above nothing.

sorry to hear that

I am having the same problem for the last year, no one here wants to pay any money.  Most companies barely pay minimum wage for Professional jobs. Its unreal
