Sorry, Growler, it was my fault.
Every so little often, I decide to root for a team in football.  After an initial slip of rooting for the Giants with Y. A. Tittle when I was five, I have rooted for the Jets with Namath in the 1969 Super Bowl, the Redskins with Theismann, Riggins and The Hogs in 1983 and now the Giants in 2008.  The Tittle Giants were pre-Super Bowl, so for Super Bowls where I have rooted for a team, that team has won each time.

serious
I wrote that back when the Giants beat the Cowboys and the spread for that went from Dallas minus 7 and a half to Dallas minus 4 and a half in less than 24 hours.  My nephew gambles and he has a bookie who clues him in too.  He made a killing this year.  I was kind of suspicious when the early money went on the G Men, but figured a spread cover not an outright.  But I hear you.  Instead of "spygate" , they should investigate "gamblegate".  Especially when  the Giants are involved.  But the fact is , New York won.  Good for them.

not surprized!!!!
One thing we all need to remember,  both teams are in the business to make tons of money.  I don't care how good they are, or seem to be, the players don't get to make the business decisions, the owners do.  If the owner tells the coach(an employee) to "keep it close", then that is what he must do, and so forth.  The best team in the NFL just doesn't have a bad game.  My bookie uncle told me not to worry about the points, then he winked. Gee, I wonder how he knew....
