the problem is... i have four sets of glasses

One for reading, one for computer, one for driving and one catch-all version that has all three strengths... and I can't seem to find any of them... thanks for making me laugh on an otherwise irritable day... :) Amanda

My problem is I keep losing my reading glasses...
I have a half dozen pair somewhere but can never find them when I need them.  I wear contacts but have bifocals for night/reading, but I hate them!  I stay in my contacts.  I have no problem reading the computer, but I just can't read anything else without the bifocals or the reading glasses.  And it seems to be getting worse and worse... and I'm still in my late 40s.. I wonder just how bad it will get.  Funny, my mother had said for years she had stopped reading because she just couldn't see to read anymore.  It may have had something to do with her later being diagnosed with Alzheimer's (and so may my losing all my reading glasses!!!) but perhaps it was true she couldn't see as well.

Cheap-women, I gave up my 20-year subscription to Rolling Stone when...
I needed reading glasses to read the articles.  I mean, does the roof have to fall on me?

Before Prescription Eyewear

I was blissfully unaware of my crow's feet, uneven skin tone, and that peculiar hair growing out of my chin!

My glasses

are now permanently attached to my hand or shirt.  I have a travel pair and a good pair. I know I'm past redemption.  Now when I hold something out as far as I can (without my glasses) its in focus but its too damn small to read. I really hate being old.
