"There is no sense going to Lincoln or Omaha anymore for a weekend, it costs nearly $15.00 a night to stay in a hotel."
And now the room rates are going that much per year!

OMG I was 10!!!!!! how far how quick since then Somethings do stay the same
though don't they. A handsome man is still a handsome man!

Life was still very quiet in the 50's before my generation and younger exploded onto the stage.

Offy
That was the year I graduated from highschool. I worked that summer in an office that had a coke machine right outside in the hall. It held the old-fashioned coke bottles and a nickle was all one had to drop in the machine. I drank so much frosty coke that summer, I could never stand one after. That's when I went to drinking coffee.

1955
Offy,
I'm old enough to clearly remember 1955! It was such a different world back then, in the stone age. How did kids like you and Strat and Spitfire get to be so smart and talented in such a short time? Love all your stuff. Guy
