I feel overwhelmed today. I usually get this way when I arrive very late for work and that's precisely what I did this morning.
Being late makes me feel really incompetent and the feeling lasts all day unless I do something really brilliant. But there's not much brilliance in my position as a secretary. Oh, what brilliant photocopies you made, they're awesome. I think not.
Like you I sense that a horrible economic collapse is about to befall us. I need a cozy corner to watch from too. But, no, I have a job and I have to keep working.
