I think most of sensuality and sexuality exist in the mind....and once you get your hormonal issues under more control, which you will.....you will find that you can experience your most sensual and most sexual years, yet....if that is your desire, and choice

It's not snowing here, however I've been down with some bug since I returned from the dentist yesterday...and so, as I am able, I get to the computer and cruise the posts. Thank you for the helpful information AND for the warm and kind comments. Your the best!

You're a very good writer.  A friend of mine e-mailed this post to me this morning and I had no idea whom it was I was reading until the end.  And though I'm a man of a certain naïveté on issues such as this (which covers most of us, really) I enjoyed this throughout.

Good job.

Better late than never!
It's snowing out and I'm 'catching up' on my reading. Forgive me!

Check with an endocrinologist who specializes in bioidentical hormones and get Suzanne Sommer's last two books (I'm serious!!);

Honey, you don't have to dry up. (unless your body gets cancer like mine did -- no more hormones for me) -- but you're in an area of the country that has the right kind of Endocrinologist YOU need!  I got my hormones on normal levels, all of them, and I lost weight and felt great.

You ARE still beautiful, too!

Cee (I cry at everything, too)

Seedlings,
Once I started the read I could not stop! I know it is a "thing" that we men cannot comprehend! My wife left me 20 years ago so I did not experience it with her. So, I am left to wonder how my mom passed through it and I had no clue! I am lucky though, because at eighty her beauty has not diminished.

I suppose so, but isn't it just horrifying how it all just catches up with you so quickly and then to be the one who is no longer young and having to listen to a youngster tell you all about, the 'normal signs' etc! Hey, thanks for dropping in today

What a well told story!  I know the look - in my case from a male Dr. - the it-will-be-alright look.  Good to find someone who actually knows what they're talking about versus someone who's doling out advise from a textbook.  Check out a vitamen shop or naturopathic place.  They have excellent products and solutions to for I-want-to-kill moods.
