Sally
I'm a little surprised you have to do a drug test for a new job.  It's amazing what "white lies" can be found in a urine test.  Having worked in the insurance industry I was privy to the results of tests taken by insurance applicants.  Of course they said "no" to all the questions but the urine said otherwise....  busted.

What do people do?

Well they quit smoking until they get hired if they're smart, I think it takes about a month to clean the system out and none of those "flushers" really work(from the reports I've heard). The latest thing is the hair test, which holds a record of drug use much longer. And if you're bald, they just ask for a sample from..... elsewhere.

I also agree with your first choice. Never base your choice soley on money, it's the worst motivator that their is. Although I would have to say, I'm always for sale to the highest bidder(and I don't mean the one who smokes the most pot!).

Good Morning Offy hon

I completely agree with Corbin - if you picked that job because you liked the people and the atmosphere, stick with it! A few moments of satisfaction when you look at your pay cheque won't make up for the regret of having to endure people you don't like the rest of the time...

Of course, with your great new business idea you may not need a job at all! I'll help you set up the Cleen-Pee Corporation, you can be the Pee Queen, I'll be the Pee King, and we'll be peeing our way to fame and fortune...

Corbin...my thoughts exactly! I love the idea of being around people who are like minded. It definitely is going to be a postive place to work...how often do you get paid to do something you really love?

Just popping in to check up on folks as the subscription winds down. I think I could have picked a better day to read your entry though!

of course everyone wants you darling. but you just pick the job that suits
you best. Maybe the extra money one has extra stress attached. Something your Li'l 'ol heart don't need!

Good Morning Offy!
If the first job is the one you told me about...stick with it....you'll be around a lot of people with "like minds" and it will be an exciting time to be there.   What if, where you have more money offered is a place with people you can't agree on anything with???  The atmosphere could be unbearable......
