Re: Canada Jo, living and loving with Wiley John!

I knew you were with Wiley John I just didn't really know where you both are.  There seems to be quite an exchange between Canada and AU  I have friends who live there now,

Re: Luster Love

It isn't cold it is very hot and muggy.  That's why everyone has to get out of the house and swim.

I think the days of airconditioning are spoiling that for kids.  Many stay at home in the conditioning.  I don't have airconditioning. I paint out on my verandah if it really is too hot I go up to my sisters farm for a swim or lie on the couch with the fan on until it cools at least a little.

But when in brisbane I hit the beach!

Re: Yes that is where I would like to be Azur
Lovely work Brisbane. I love those colours that are so evocative of the place. Yes, painting is a little quicker.

Re: I love Brisbane but of course Bondi was my home beach for years.

Queensland is still fun in the sun. These days everyone has a sunshirt and face covered but it is still fun.  Flys and skeeters seem immune to repellent though.

Where are you now?

I love Brisbane but of course Bondi was my home beach for years.
I miss the North end with the rock pools where the local families with little kids swim. I used to take a grandson there. Sigh. Time and situations move on!

Yes that is where I would like to be Azur

when they closed the beach to refurbish (half done now) I was really a bit of a lost soul.

I would like to paint big canvases at the cafe that over looks the rock pools. (It is not opened yet, the rock pool, but certainly the best place to lap.) I know it is strange but I love painting murals as a bit of a performance.  You can see the cafe to the right just lightly blocked into this painting

I love writing but with painting I can get the jobs straight away.

Lifes good,

Jo

Brisbane
I would like a unit there too. I stayed there for my last birthday. At the Saville. The hotel with

the pool that overhangs the street. Have you seen it? That was a treat. The main 'beach' was empty then and undergoing a refurb.

Azur - Hi

Yes I swim there morning and night regardless of the weather.  I drive one hour and twenty minutes and so need the exercise when I get out of the car.

One day I would like to have a unit there as well as my country place,

Jo
