Seedlings, I knew there was a good reason we don't own guns...
...sounds just like something one of my all too eager dogs would do...

Yes, guns should be kept away from small children, drunk adults and frenzied dogs. Guns should be handled with the greatest of care and we should all fearfully respect them.

i think it is not the animals' fault
a gun is dangerous in any circumstance be it around, children, animals or just by accident. you can be at risk just by being around it. my husband loves guns and he passed the bug to our 3-year-old, I on the other hand, have a mortal fear of them and your piece has increased my gun phobia!

I don't know much about guns but the 'safety' is the lock on the trigger right? Well, I think for everyone's safety pet owners should keep this little tid bit about that man in Texas being shot by his dog, on the Down Low, because who really wants to find out how smart their dog is anyway

yeah, I think you'd better just hide the guns and not let them know about this particular phenomena...they might want to join up. Keep this info on the down low for your own safety

I know. I have a twisted sense of humor and thus I couldn't stop laughing when I heard this on the nightly news...you know, it kind of reminded me of a Planet of the Apes scenario...dog's getting back at owners who have done them wrong, or perhaps dog's are just getting smart enough to shoot back
