Theologians like Tim LaHay believe this Christ-denying spirit will inhabit a world leader. The world leader is called "man of sin" in 2Thessalonians 2:3-4. He has many other names too; for example, he is call "the little horn" in Daniel 7:11 and "the beast" in Revelation 11. He is called a Conquering King. This world leader is referred to as The Anti-christ because his is the personification of that Christ-denying spirit. In short the world leader denies Christ very strongly too, so he shares the name Anti-christ because is possessed by that evil spirit and then by Satan.

The Anti-crist had other names too Like beast, lawless one, man of sin, and Chief son of Perditiion.
