Here is two for you!

My wife went to work one day, and when she got there she called and said she thought she must have locked her keys in the car would I go see.  She was riding with someone else about 3 or 4 miles from where we lived at the time.  My car was in the shop, so I had to walk but I took her extra keys to unlock the door and get her keys out.  When I got there the car was still running with the doors locked.

Now one on me.  I got to work early one night so I sat in the car for a little while and listened to the radio.  When it came time to go on duty, I got out and locked the doors with the radio still going.

I Can Relate!
When my son was still a toddler, I went to the refrigerator to pour some milk in his bottle. I poured the milk into his bottle, then I put the nipple on the gallon of milk and put the bottle back in the refrigerator. I took two steps away then realized I was looking at a gallon of milk with a nipple on it. Guess I thought he was really thirsty!

Re: Stupid Things
I went to the checkout counter with my credit card in hand. Swiped it. took the reciept from the checker, and then asked her for my credit card,  She said Sir, its under the receipt.

CRS will get all of us if we live long enough.

I hear her beep her car, open in, get in close the door while in the middle of a story. then she interrupts herself to say, "oh.... crap i think i left my cell phone in the room.. hold on a sec."

long pause....

"oh--- nevermind... haha"

It's called distraction, b2008. Not one of us has not experienced a
similar thing with car keys, house keys, books, the TV remote, whatever.

b2008
I'm always looking for my glasses (I've got 20 pairs!) and I've been told by my children, that they are already on my face, but once my children grew up and moved away, well it was up to me to find my own glasses now and usually, I find them, go to put them on and crash, I'm trying to shove another pair of glasses on top of the ones already on my face!  I've even answered the television remote before, thought it was the phone. Swear!

I do stuff like this all the time.

Recently, I was vaccuming...had the attachment hose on the vacuum trying to get into the corners. When it wouldn't reach up high I took the end attachment off and just kept going, like it was going to keep sucking on its own.  duh

also one of the burners on the stove wouldn't light......so i go a book of matches out of the draw...took one match out and just held it to the burner.  My daughter said......uumm..mom..you gotta lite the match.  duh
