both of you are correct. I was so carried away by my emotions the first time I read the email that I didn't even bother to check whether the allegations were true. I guess my previous experiences with racism simply took over and intensified my anger when I read it.
Man, I am nearing fifty years old and I haven't really tamed myself with regards to anger...:(

padrecito, it is true, that all must be vierified nowadays. My baby brother
does that for our family. Someone sends out some silly or offensive email and he finds the truth and sends us all there to read......
Thw world is full of silly and hatefilled and time on their hands people, who love to stir up things around them....
We know that we must love our neighbors and our immigrants and visitors and family as we love ourselves, no?
I read a love they neighbor poster the other day and it read, "Love thy neighbor, thy Muslim neighbor, thy Jewish neighbor, thy Christian neighbor, thy pagan neighbor, thy gay neighbor, thy transgendered neighbor, thy elderly neighbor, etc. etc. etc....Mom made me add "thy Mexican neighbor" when I made her a poster of it for her wall.....
Simple creatures looking for love and acceptance, every one of us.

I always verify first especially if it is a sensitive information. Last month I was in Cebu and I received a sms about an acquaintance who suddenly died of a heart attack. Since the number was not listed on my cellphone, I first verified it with a reliable source who I know is close to the person.
