My husband is an autodidact and tries to learn just about any instrument he can lay his hands on - and although I myself can play just piano (and not too good, I'm afraid) I can feel how much playing guitar gives to him - and I am happy that my second child in all her 10 months loves music very much... I remember once when my husband played guitar, and she was standing up and crying desperately - until we figured out that she just wanted to play, too.

I love Gaelic pipes and flutes, Color Your Life. I also love Indian wood
flute music, like Douglas Spotted Eagle. Of course, there's Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and his heavy metal flute...

music stimulates our right brain; we become more "brainy" in this synergistic process
