My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids out when she was 2. (She's 18 now). I remember how awful it was to see her post surgery lying on the gurney. There was a tiny trickle of blood running down the corner of her mouth. It made me cry. It took her about 2 weeks to fully recover. She had chicken pox the following year. That was 100x worse. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
