It took me 15 yrs now my x has had plans to get remarried to 2 different women in less than a year as for my daughter her bf is 28 he is never going to grow up! At 20 she is way more mature but she still has a lot of growing up to do also Thanks for reading

She's thinking she can deal with it, that it will get better.
She's thinking she won't face the shame of coming home and having to start over, because she loves him and eventually he'll come to appreciate her. What she doesn't see is that he has to achieve maturity, he may never do it, and nothing she does or does not do will make that happen. She won't leave until she's convinced he's not her responsibility. Took me 20 years.
