you reap what you sow...
This is a universal law of nature.

Karma is the most important law. In this topsy turvy world, the working of this law is not immediately apparent as we see the crooked prospering and honest people suffer. Death equalizes all and next time around may not be so nice for evil people!!!!

Re: Re: Point Understood
By the way, great post. I have thought about this so many times.

Re: Bad Karma will follow you
The Bible from my understanding does teach with repentance comes forgiveness and our sin is remembered no more and not punished, the great gift of Christ. As far as Karma you have a point about where it comes from but I was referring more to the true "what goes around, comes around" (reap what you sow) comparison. Welcome and thanks for the comments.

Bad Karma will follow you

I'm a new blogger and this is my first. I read all your article and I'm very encouraged indeed that you speak a lot about relying on Christ. However, I find it disturbing that you should mention Bad Karma which if I'm not mistaken is a teaching found in Hinduism and Buddhism. The Bible does not teach us that repentance of sin would also mean that we will not face the consequences of our sin. It teaches us that we will reap what we sow. So if we sow evil we will also reap evil. This is what we call 'the Law of the Harvest'.

Don't you think that as a professing Christian you should remind readers of this Biblical teaching by referring to the Bible rather than to a teaching of other religions. Don't you agree your article encourages the readers to look into other religious teaching instead of relying only on the Word of God? Is this not adding to the Scripture?

Please let me have your views? Thanks.

Re: Point Understood
Sooner or later though what goes around comes around and none escape. Thanks for the input.

Point Understood
I understand what you are saying but it does seem like there are some out there who are, what I call "Teflon" people. They shove things off on other people for them to pick up the slack, have the "I have paid my dues" mentality (which no one ever has paid their dues) and yet they still come out on top, smelling like roses and nothing ever sticks. Maybe it is just perception and that is not the real life situation at all but it sure seems that way at times. However, I believe in spiritual warfare. I believe that the Devil does have free reign on this Earth to try to break an individual's belief in God. hey, the Devil does not chase who he already has in his back pocket. Maybe that is the definition of the "Teflon" people.

I believe in Karma...
...and what you dish out, expect for it to come back to you sooner or later. I also believe that "false faces" will have miserable lives as people find them out.
