I am thankful to have two good eyes but I have had other trying experiences in life. God has always been with me and given me the strength and courage to overcome and the faith to trust in him, and acknowledge him to direct my path in life.

I nearly lost an eye at the age of six or seven (it was winter 69-70),
stirlingr. I didn't have much of a concept of god then. The one I have now isn't much better. It works for me...

And you too have given...up and back...paying it forward I guess I would say. Christ gave you the gift of one eye and you give many your gift of seeing what you do with one eye. How very uniquely you bless us.
