Good Luck! I just want to be able to stay happy and healthy..
honestly, I don't like to set goals or have resolutions because I never keep them.

Well!
Now you have me thinking. One new activity I have been considering for 2008 is to have one day of silence every week, maybe every two weeks.  Weight loss is an on going goal.  And, I need to finish my book too.  Last month at a personal growth workshop I also mentioned being more proactive, cooking, doing more therapy and being more loving and caring.   Is this enough?

Great goals jaz, sounds a lot like mine. I just ordered a program called
Debt Free. It's inexpensive (the irony) and I have a thirty-day trial. They believe I can be debt free in 24 months (including car payment), using their program. I had some ideas of my own but thought I would consult an expert. My goal is to purchase a home in the next year and they assure me I can turn a 30-year mortgage in seven years. I have been investigating a 'money saver' program where all earned income goes toward the mortgage and a credit line backs up your monthly expenses interest free. My income would be consolidated into a 'group investment' portfolio. I have investigated the concept enough to know it is above board, so we'll see. I'm looking at early retirement and travel in my long term goals (& yes, I'm dealing with this 30-pound weight issue as well). I'm on a weight lifting program as well as jazzercise and found some great trails in my new locale' so started hiking with two Pit Bulls (my roomies), which is great exercise. I've eliminated meat from my diet and I'm on Isagenix protein and vegetables for blood sugar control. I've dropped five pounds since starting a month ago, so time will tell. Good luck to you in your goals and blessings in the new year.
