- Go to Redskins May Get Into Playoffs While Dallas Takes It Easy
I like the Giants, Wavy. Big Hostetler fan. Parcells, too. But Dallas
didn't have it in them to beat Washington (which may come back to haunt them in two weeks), losing today. You don't know how much I hate losing to the Redskins.

Redskins May Get Into Playoffs While Dallas Takes It Easy
Saul Relative: I watched the Giants-Patriots game last night. I thank the NFL for simulcasting it on NBC and CBS, respectively. Both teams played hard and New England won 38-35 to complete a perfect 16-0 regular season. When push comes to shove, Dallas will try to win it too. Since I'm a Giants fan, I hate Dallas and Washington.

When Comcast and the cable companies place the NFL network on
basic cable lists like the NFL wants, FormerTI, that's when. As of right now, only about 40% of people with cable get the NFL network because it is offered as part of a package. I, myself, do not have it for that reason. My father has it because he has satellite service.

Re: It's all about money, jaz,
Amen. I'm wondering when the NFL will inevitably place all of their games on the NFL network and when (gasp!) the SB goes there or on PPV.

It's all about money, jaz, just like everything else. People can throw in
the idea of political pressure all they want, but when this game reached historic proportions, the NFL would've sold their collective mothers to ANY number of networks willing to pay whatever godawful price they set. I'd like to know how much NBC and CBS are paying the NFL for this historic simulcast...

I can't believe that.....
I thought two major networks could not broadcast the same thing at the same time.
