You're quite right, Naut. I just needed a second opinion.

Ann
Sometimes a bit of the bottled Christmas cheer can get you through the doldrums! I mean, that's what 'God Fortsaettning' (I won't bother with the umlaut) is all about, isn't it?

Re: Ann, it's anothe holiday here, today, too - "Boxing Day"
I hope the shops did well for Christmas. Many of them depend on the Christmas commerce to see them through the year.

HaHa! You're a lovely man, I-R. You've chased my blues away. I like the bit about "We'll have twelve months to save our dough For Christmas time next year".

Re: ANN
Don't worry, Seedlings. There are 364 other days to enjoy if Christmas is not your thing. I like the carols too.

Ann. I'm glad you and yours had a nice Christmas. We did too.
Here's a little song I made up to get you over the day after Christmas blues. i hope you like it.
Jingle Bells,Jingle Bells,
Jingle All The Went
So, what are we going to eat
Now all our money's spent
We'll have left-over ham, left over yams
A turkey leg or two
And you better not complain
If you know what's good for you
Christmas come, Christmas gone
Next week comes New Year's Day
After that it's back to work.,
For we have bills to pay.
Do not sigh, do not cry
Do not shed a tear
We'll have twelve months to save our dough
For Christmas time next year. Hey!

I get the blues when the Holidays roll around, so there isn't much difference as they roll away. I do like christmas carols though and perhaps one day when I am 80 I may like the Holidays too

I've had this goat for the past 20 years. The ribbons are new though. I asked hubby to replace the old faded ones and somehow he tied a piece over its mouth. I wonder why.
