Which Way?
Offy: I'm a guy and I never admit to getting lost.  I just haven't gotten there yet.  When will I get there?  Only God knows!

Sally, I feel the same way as most of you and don't own nor intend to own
a GPS..and I'm a happy bachelor..so there :) ! Seriously though, the Divinity within each of us is the greatest GPS one could ever have, bless - Ash

Offy .Dear Sally.. Glad you had a nice Christmas..I never wanted a GPS
Personally I have no use for one right now. What I could use is a device to help me find my car keys. Day After hugzIR

I don't like being lost, but

Sally, I don't like being lost, but I hate gizmos even more.  I doubt seriously that I will ever own a GPS.  When we go on a trip I take the time at home to write down where I want to turn at and hardly ever even use a map.  Occasionally I do take a wrong turn and have to use a map, but it is the old fasioned paper fold-up kind.  I enjoyed your post my friend.

Good Morning, Offy hon
Oh boy, I've had a GPS on the boat for years, but it's portable and I have used it in the car at times...I hope you're still talking to me after this confession...

Sally
I'm guilty of considering a GPS for "B" but opted for another gizmo instead.  Yup - men sure do like their toys.  This coming summer we're going to drive through Eastern Canada (the Maritimes) and we will be buying a GPS for that.  I'm the navigator and I'm pretty good at it but I thought it might eliminate some grief particularly in the bigger cities like Montreal which is where we'll begin the trip.

As far as I'm concerned, its just another doo-dad.   I'm not interested in doo-dads for myself.  I like the simple life.  LOL

Luke has gps in the car, but we never program a destination. We just
follow along with mapquest directions and if we get lost, we use the map on the screen to try to figure out which way to go.  LOL  It's not like we intentionally want to make it more challenging... but it does end up that way!

Glad you had a great Christmas. I don't think a GPS would do me much good ... to quote hubby ... "With your sense of direction you'll get lost anyway with or without one".

Yes, Blockhead is the perfect name for him as he blocks all cell and gps
frequencies. I understand the BL is having a special aluminum foil beret made for him.  HAHAHAHAHA

Glad you had a great time...I understand the BL got Blockhead a GPS
system, but due to his three eyes, something about the frequency got off and he ended up in Siberia this passed weekend.  The BL was very pissed.
