I love your style! The descriptions are subtle, giving a clear image without hitting the reader over the head with it. I almost wish I hadn't been able to picture it so clearly though - sad and scary all at the same time!
You should check out draco101 and Pat_B - They're some of my fave fiction writers on this site, and both are super talented!
