Wonderful story. took me back to the days when my children were babies. God Lord I dreaded the doctors visits as much as she. I felt like a terrible mother letting strangers (nurses) poke my daughter with a needle. I cried more than my baby girl. It just broke my heart. Sooooo I got the bright idea that I'd let my husband take her in...that would solve everything. No way! Not being able to hold my daughter, wipe her nose and face, knowing she was behind a closed door without me...well I was nothing short of hysterical. So forever after I took the children in, bucked up and took it like an adult that I was trying to be.
